COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT MY WORK
-
The most important thing to note is that I am not a Certified Psychotherapist. I personally chose not to become this as I didn’t want my work to be bound by so many constraints that just weren’t in alignment for how I wanted to work with people.
That said, Embodied Dream Therapy is for anyone looking to deepen their awareness of self in body, mind and soul. The beauty of this unique and untraditional approach is that your healing is 100% guided by you. We let your body and dreams tell us when you’re ready to work through whatever may come up. There is no pressure or goal-based directive.
We allow your nighttime dreams to guide us and if you don’t remember your nighttime dreams, we will build waking dreams through my Embodied Dreamweaving tarot method. This has a very similar impact to working with a nighttime dream as the story and results are still coming from you and your psyche.
Additionally, we bring in all of my extensive training in meditation, mindfulness and Eastern Somatic Attachment Repair practices to work with the wisdom of your body while learning tools and techniques to regulate your nervous system.
To top it off, this is a spiritual-based therapy. We look at the bigger picture and help you find your own relationship to something greater than yourself to lean on. Together we can cultivate prayer, ritual and ceremony to guide you back to the God of your own understanding. I utilize an Animistic approach whenever possible to reconnect you back to the natural world. To remember you too are nature.

Embodied means to come into relationship with our own body — to actually learn to BE inside of our body. Creating this safety can certainly be a challenge. My work helps to guide this relationship slowly through guided movement and meditation practices that you can take all in your own time in your own way.
When we can come home to our body, we can learn to listen to the “dream” or wisdom that lies inside of sensation and begin to move and heal stuck emotions.

Somatics refers to the relationship between your body, mind and consciousness (soul).
To tap into this, we explore how physical sensations, movements, and experiences influence our thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being.
Somatic practices involve:
Body awareness: Paying attention to physical sensations, such as tension, pain, or pleasure.
Movement exploration: Using movement to release tension, improve coordination, and enhance self-expression.
Breathing techniques: Regulating breath to calm the nervous system and promote relaxation.
Mindfulness: Cultivating present-moment awareness of bodily experiences.
Somatic practices can be used for:
Trauma recovery: Addressing and releasing the physical and emotional effects of traumatic events.
Stress management: Reducing stress and anxiety through body-centered techniques.
Improved body image: Developing a more positive and accepting relationship with one's body.
Enhanced self-regulation: Gaining greater control over emotional responses and behaviors.
Somatic therapy is a form of psychotherapy that incorporates somatic practices to help individuals heal and improve their well-being.

I believe that marketing is simply “sharing”. Finding our own story within why we do what we do (whether we are and individual or corporation) and telling the world about it. I utilize Embodied Dreamweaving in my marketing consulting to get to the core of the power of what it is we are building and sharing with the world.

As an individual business, it can be off putting to call yourself a “brand”. I get it. That said, I believe - in this case - that a brand is an outer manifestation/reflection of our own inner worlds. An opportunity for a beautiful visual experience and story that expresses you and what you do. The symbolism inside of the colors, logos, words — all of this is a dream. In this way, building a brand is a sacred act. One that I’d love to support you with.
The same goes if you are a larger organization/corporation. A brand is still a reflection of the collective experience of its creators and customers. We work in a similar way in this case to create something powerful, magical and authentic to your story.

I work with all levels of businesses from individual-level to corporate. My work and style is unique in that it can apply to any organization in this way, should my methods and style be the right fit.

Right now I am working with a lot of health and wellness brands and businesses, but that being said, I have and can work with anyone or anything so long as you’re wanting to take a deeper, more soulful approach to your work. Check out my professional portfolio to see more of what I’ve done to date.
